\tInspect and certify perishable products.
\n\tInspect the handling, storage and transport of perishable products.
\n\tEnsure the correct application of quality management systems, BMS procedures and working instructions.
\n\tPerform administrative tasks.
\n\tBuild and maintain good relations with PPECB clients.
\n\tCommunicate with various clients on own specific task and outcome of decisions.
\n\tParticipate in the relief duty roster.
\n\tAccept the responsibility of continuous self-improvement in their area of responsibility<\/p>\n
Job Requirements\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA National Diploma in an agricultural or food science discipline.
\n\tNational Certificate: Perishable Produce Export\u00a0Technology would be advantageous.
\n\tPractical experience, theoretical knowledge or competency in Pome fruit.
\n\tCompleted Pome Portfolio of Evidence would be advantageous.
\n\tGood verbal and written communication skills.
\n\tComputer literate.
\n\tThe ability to work independently and \/ or with minimum supervision.
\n\tA valid code 08 driving license and own reliable vehicle is a requirement<\/p>\n

The presence of the PPECB in the export industry is furthermore enhanced by its recognition as an approved third country under the European Commission Regulation 543 of 2011.
