JOB DESCRIPTION:<\/p>\n
Key performance areas include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tProviding strategic leadership and governance of the student accommodation and catering portfolio.
\n\tOverseeing a large-scale accommodation system, including university residences and private accommodation partnerships.
\n\tDriving financial sustainability and revenue generation to ensure full cost recovery of operations.
\n\tManaging high-value contracts and service providers, including catering, maintenance, and accommodation partners.
\n\tEnsuring effective delivery and continuous improvement of catering services, including expansion of access (e.g., kiosks and satellite services).
\n\tOverseeing infrastructure, maintenance, and facilities management of residences.
\n\tLeading the implementation of living and learning programmes to enhance student success, wellbeing, and sense of belonging.
\n\tManaging a large and diverse workforce and promoting a high-performance culture.
\n\tEnsuring compliance, risk management, and student safety across all accommodation platforms.
\n\tMonitoring performance, reporting on key outcomes, and driving continuous improvement.
\n\tBuilding and maintaining strategic stakeholder relationships internally and externally.<\/p>\n
APPLICATION CRITERIA:<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tA master\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Public Management, Higher Education, the Built Environment, or Hospitality Professional certifications in facilities management, property or housing management, project management, or hospitality management will be an added advantage
\n\tA minimum of 10 years\u2019 relevant experience
\n\tAt least 5 years at senior management level
\n\tExperience in large-scale accommodation or property management.
\n\tContract and service provider management
\n\tFinancial and revenue management
\n\tExperience in higher education or the public sector is preferred<\/p>\n
