This role is responsible for driving consumer demand, strengthening brand equity, and delivering sustainable business growth across a diverse portfolio of global and local brands.<br \/>\n\tYou will translate business strategy into impactful, social\u2011first marketing plans, lead high\u2011performing teams, and shape how consumers experience our brands across digital, social, experiential and in\u2011store touchpoints.<\/p>\n<p>What you\u2019ll do<\/p>\n<p>\tLead the development and execution of integrated, consumer\u2011centric marketing strategies for the Foods portfolio in Southern Africa<br \/>\n\tDrive demand creation through insight\u2011led, social\u2011first campaigns that build relevance, engagement and conversion<br \/>\n\tInspire and lead high\u2011performing demand creation teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, experimentation and accountability<br \/>\n\tChampion innovation by deploying global launches and shaping locally relevant innovations that drive growth and margin<br \/>\n\tStrengthen brand storytelling through compelling content, creators, experiential activations and digitally enabled platforms<br \/>\n\tPartner closely with commercial, R&amp;D, finance and agency teams to deliver shared business objectives<br \/>\n\tBuild and scale demand creation capabilities across social, digital, experiential and in\u2011store execution<br \/>\n\tOversee marketing investment, ensuring strong ROI and disciplined budget management<\/p>\n<p>What you\u2019ll bring<\/p>\n<p>\t10+ years\u2019 experience in FMCG marketing, with strong expertise in demand creation, brand building and innovation (Foods or related category essential)<br \/>\n\tProven experience translating strategy into high\u2011impact marketing plans that drive growth and brand equity<br \/>\n\tDeep expertise in social\u2011first and digital marketing, including content, creators, SEO and performance amplification<br \/>\n\tStrong people leadership capability, with experience building and developing diverse, high\u2011performing teams<br \/>\n\tSolid commercial and financial acumen, with proven experience partnering closely with Customer Development teams to translate brand strategy into winning customer, channel and in\u2011market execution; ability to manage and optimise marketing investment to deliver strong ROI and sustainable growth.<br \/>\n\tHighly collaborative approach with the ability to influence across functions and external partners<br \/>\n\tPassion for food, consumer trends and building brands that people love<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( https:\/\/www.unilever.co.za ) or<\/p>\n<p>careers.unilever.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/careers.unilever.com","_company_name":"Unilever","_company_website":"https:\/\/www.unilever.co.za","_company_tagline":"On any given day, two billion people use Unilever products to look good, feel good and get more out of life.
