Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\n\u00a0This full-time time support position (10:00 to 18:00 Mon – Thurs, 10:00 to 16:00 Fri) includes the following:<\/p>\n
\tEffectively and efficiently managing the school\u2019s Media Centre.
\n\tContinuous development and management of the media collection, both physical and digital.
\n\tLead and train a team of learner Media Monitresses.
\n\tTeach Media Literacy lessons to Grade 8 Learners.
\n\tProvide after-school homework facilities for learners staying late on campus.\u00a0
\n\tAssist the ICT department by providing first-line support (iPad, Apple OS and\/or Google suite) to learners at breaks and after school.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tLibrary-related qualifications and\/or experience is essential
\n\tOrganisational skills, especially data management within Excel is essential.
\n\tExperience in a school environment will be a distinct advantage
\n\tSkill and experience working with iPads, Apple OS and\/or Google suite would be an advantage.\u00a0
\n\tSACE registration would be an advantage. \u00a0<\/p>\n
