Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tCarry out coded welding (double coded \u2013 e.g., SMAW, GTAW, or FCAW as required) on structural and pressure components.
\n\tInspect, repair, and maintain ceramic-lined pulverised fuel (PF) hangers and supports.
\n\tFabricate components according to technical drawings and specifications.
\n\tInstall PF hangers, supports, and related structures on-site.
\n\tEnsure proper alignment, fitting, and securing of fabricated parts.
\n\tConduct visual and dimensional inspections before, during, and after welding.
\n\tIdentify defects and perform necessary corrective actions.
\n\tWork with maintenance and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
\n\tEnsure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and quality requirements.
\n\tMaintain tools, welding equipment, and work areas in good condition.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tValid Welding Trade Test – double welding (e.g., 2 welding processes coded).
\n\tGrade 12\u00a0
\n\tProven experience in welding, fabrication, and installation within industrial or power plant environments.
\n\tExperience working with ceramic-lined components and PF systems (advantageous).
\n\tAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures.
\n\tKnowledge of welding standards and quality control processes.
\n\tPhysically fit and able to work in demanding environments.<\/p>\n
