\tNew company based Durban is looking for a Payroll Intern.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tMatric and Higher certificate or Diploma in HR.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tNone required.<\/p>\n
Key Deliverables:<\/p>\n
\tProcess all payroll source documents onto the payroll system.
\n\tMust be able to handle fortnight payrolls for approximately 250 employees.
\n\tHandling of the payroll process from start to finish, from processing timesheets, earnings and deductions to final payment being released to employees.
\n\tMaintain employee\u2019s files.
\n\tMonitor and report employee leave records.
\n\tAssist in drafting employee contracts.
\n\tMust be able to handle any payroll queries with staff.
\n\tPrepare payments of all monthly company contributions.
\n\tPrepare and reconcile month-end payments.
\n\tCompare payroll ED balances with the finance general ledger balances to ensure correct amounts are paid over.
\n\tLiaise with the Finance department on any discrepancies for resolution prior to closing of month-end.<\/p>\n
