Purpose of the Job<\/p>\n
\tThe Senior Credit Executive at Aramex is responsible for managing the credit control function within the Accounting and Finance team. This role involves assessing credit risks, managing customer credit accounts, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. The Senior Credit Executive will work closely with sales and finance teams to ensure a balanced approach to credit management, minimize financial risk, and contribute to the company\u2019s overall financial health.<\/p>\n
Job Description<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for Daily Collections
\n\tDaily capturing of Bank statements to SAP
\n\tObtain customers\u2019 satisfaction with regards to timeous delivery of Statements & Invoices.
\n\tExcel report sent to customers
\n\tManage collectors plans to optimize collection targets
\n\tBalance confirmations on accounts to be sent to customers monthly
\n\tScheduled meetings are held with CRM on their defaulting customer \/ minutes compiled with person responsible and time deadlines to action
\n\tReport on top 20 accounts overdue on 30 days and email Credit & Branch managers weekly
\n\tUpdate a life sheet on Excel for tracking Freight\/V&D Shipments\/ Invoicing and payments.
\n\tMonitor and action all account for 30 days and over as per AR. Collection process
\n\tEnsure all unallocated receipts are reconciled daily and accounted for
\n\tMonitor unallocated credits
\n\tCompile monthly reports and as they are requested on deadlines
\n\tEnsure \u201cReminder\u201d letters are sent to defaulting customers
\n\tEnsure all queries are resolved timeously
\n\tEnsure all accounts are maintained according to their payment terms \/ Credit reviews
\n\tEnsure all payments are allocated accurately on customer accounts
\n\tEnsure all credit control procedures are followed and targets are met
\n\tAdhere to all policies and documented procedures
\n\tUpdate Customer Information on Sales Force and SAP
\n\tMonthly reporting: Overdue, Commitments, Daily targets vs achieved
\n\tCustomer visits were required to discuss overdue accounts and payment arrangements
\n\tReview of new customer applications<\/p>\n
Job Requirements – Experience and Education<\/p>\n
\tBCom degree or similar qualification will be beneficial
\n\tMinimum 1-2 years full credit control function experience
\n\tExcellent Communication skills (Verbal & Written)
\n\tExcellent Reconciliation skills
\n\tMin 2 years SAP Experience (optional)
\n\tMicrosoft Excel & Word<\/p>\n
