\tAttend and facilitate classroom sessions on mining theory, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
\n\tEnsure consistent quality delivery of training.
\n\tTake responsibility for the health and safety of employees within the designated area of responsibility.
\n\tEnsure compliance with all site safety procedures and regulations within the Underground Training Centre.
\n\tPlan and coordinate Mining Cycle activities
\n\tAttend standards committee meetings.
\n\tUpdate mining learning material.
\n\tMaintain and abide to Barberton Mines\u2019 Training Quality Management System.
\n\tAccurate reporting and administration of training activities and Learnerships.
\n\tLiaise with legislators on training matters.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 Certificate or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications and\/or similar qualification.
\n\tBlasting Certificate for Hard Rock.
\n\tFacilitator, Assessor and Moderator Certificate.
\n\tOccupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices (OD-ETDP) Level 4 certificate.
\n\tMinimum of 2 years Mining Training Experience.
\n\tMinimum of 2 years as a Production Shiftboss
\n\tComputer Literacy
\n\tStrong communication skills with people on different levels.
\n\tValid Certificate of physical fitness
\n\tValid Driver License code 8.<\/p>\n
