\tMidas\u00a0is searching for an\u00a0Admin clerk\u00a0to join the team in\u00a0Sasolburg.\u00a0The\u00a0purpose of this position is to perform daily administration of the branch, including cashier and COD duties when needed.<\/p>\n
Requirements\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMatric with Accounting & Mathematics\u202f\u00a0
\n\tGood with numbers & calculations\u00a0
\n\tAdvanced admin skills\u00a0
\n\tDebtors\/Debtors\/Cash book experience- Desirable\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tA quick learner who will be willing to speak up if there is a problem\u00a0
\n\tProficiency in MS Excel and Word\u00a0
\n\tOrganized, accurate and professional\u00a0
\n\tMust be willing to work in a team as well on your own\u00a0
\n\tAn honest and trustworthy individual willing & able to work with large amounts of cash each day\u00a0
\n\tAble to work under pressure\u00a0
\n\tClear ITC & Criminal record\u202f\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Performance Indicators includes, but not\u00a0limited to:<\/p>\n
\tPerform general administrative functions at the relevant branch
\n\tRelieve the cashier(s) in the front or the COD clerk when needed
\n\tAnswer telephones\/switchboard duties
\n\tMatching of Cash on Delivery invoices on the system each day
\n\tTaking customer deposits, receipting these & ensuring that they are banked timeously according to company policy.
\n\tReceiving cash for debtors account payments & ensuring that these are banked
\n\tTimeously according to company policy and recorded timeously on the daily summary sheet input sheets.
\n\tWriting up the Daily Summary Sheets accurately & timeously each day and ensuring that they are sent to Head Office on time
\n\tAssisting with the payments of Sundry Creditors, including writing out cheques
\n\tAssisting with the maintenance of the cash book and Managers Account, including straight forward postings.
\n\tPerforming month end accruals accurately & ensuring that they are sent up to Head Office timeously
\n\tPetty Cash Function \u2013 maintaining & recording all petty cash transactions
\n\tTo keep afloat box & ensure that it is adequately stocked (were required)
\n\tPass credits as and when needed (where required)
\n\tPrint daily reports of outstanding CODs and follow up any discrepancies
\n\tDo daily COD transfers from the bank statement
\n\tFiling when necessary<\/p>\n
