Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe incumbent of this position fulfils the necessary requirements within the role to meet the department\u2019s objectives with regards to the design, integration and implementation of ERP systems for Finance and Costing and on-going support thereof, ensuring interfaces between Local and Global Systems that have an impact on the Finance and Costing systems, maintenance of ERP systems for Finance and Costing, and managing projects dealing with Finance and Costing systems.<\/p>\n

Act as advisor to the business on matters relating to Information Technology Innovation:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tStay current on IT innovation, best practices, applications and trends.

\n\tMonitor government\/regulatory changes impacting finance systems.<\/p>\n
Clearly understanding business requirements for Toyota SA Motors (TSAM) systems solutions through thorough business analysis:<\/p>\n
\tFacilitate stakeholder interviews\/workshops to elicit and clarify requirements.
\n\tAnalyse current processes, workflows and system functionality; assess change impacts.
\n\tValidate and maintain Business Requirements Specifications with business owners.<\/p>\n
Designing effective system solutions for work processes and tasks:<\/p>\n
\tPartner with business to prioritise needs and translate user requirements into solutions.
\n\tApply best practices to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
\n\tDocument current state and target state processes, roles, insights and requirements.
\n\tDefine and prioritise functional\/technical requirements and integrations.
\n\tDesign and document solutions in functional and technical specifications.<\/p>\n
Project manage system solution developments and changes to completion:<\/p>\n
\tCreate delivery and deployment plans with clear milestones and timelines.
\n\tTrack progress and report status against milestones.
\n\tManage risks, deviations and escalations to remove delivery roadblocks.<\/p>\n
Configuring system data structures, processes, and functionality according to specification:<\/p>\n
\tConfigure data structures and system functionality in line with specifications.
\n\tBrief and collaborate with developers for required code changes and enhancements.
\n\tEnsure end-to-end integrations are specified, built and operational.<\/p>\n
Deploying new systems solutions and system changes to users:<\/p>\n
\tPlan and execute testing for new\/changed functionality, coordinate test team and results.
\n\tCommunicate release plans and deployment dates to impacted IT and business stakeholders.
\n\tPrepare training material and enable end-users for go-live.
\n\tMaintain SOX compliance throughout testing and deployment.
\n\tMaintaining existing system solutions and operations:
\n\tOperate and enhance existing solutions, communicating changes to stakeholders.
\n\tTroubleshoot incidents and resolve system\/transaction issues to ensure continuity.
\n\tMonitor usage and propose improvements; support users via queries\/helpdesk.<\/p>\n
Engaging with relevant stakeholders:<\/p>\n
\tEngage users to align priorities, requirements and solution features.
\n\tManage vendor contributions and deliverables.<\/p>\n
Acting as a responsible corporate citizen and a member of the team:<\/p>\n

Qualifications & Experience:<\/p>\n
\tRelevant NQF6 qualification (360 credits) in Information Technology, Information Sciences, Cost Accounting or Financial Accounting
\n\t5 – 7 years Information Technology or Finance Costing systems\/solutions work experience
\n\tSAP FI\/CO Certification mandatory.
\n\tGood knowledge of the following SAP Modules – FI, CO, MM, SD
\n\tBasic knowledge of Local and Global Systems integration in
\n\tProficiency in Systems Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation<\/p>\n
