\tWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist: Internal Auditing (Financial Services) to join our dynamic team. \n\tThe successful candidate will play a key role in planning and executing internal audit assignments, assessing financial and operational risks, and providing independent and objective assurance to improve organisational effectiveness. You will work closely with management to strengthen internal controls, enhance compliance with regulatory requirements, and support continuous improvement within the financial services environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:<\/p>\n
\tPlan, execute, and manage internal audit assignments within the financial services environment
\n\tConduct risk-based audits and evaluate internal controls and governance processes
\n\tReview financial, operational, and compliance processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
\n\tIdentify risks, control weaknesses, and areas for improvement
\n\tPrepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management
\n\tProvide recommendations to enhance internal controls and mitigate risks
\n\tEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
\n\tSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the internal audit function
\n\tEngage with stakeholders and provide advisory support where required<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRelevant qualification in Internal Auditing, Accounting, Finance, or related field
\n\tCIA, CA(SA), or relevant professional certification will be advantageous
\n\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in internal auditing within the financial services industry
\n\tStrong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance requirements
\n\tExperience in risk management, governance, and internal control framework
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n\tExcellent communication and report-writing skills
\n\tAbility to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments
\n\tStrong analytical and critical thinking ability
\n\tAttention to detail and high level of accuracy
\n\tExcellent stakeholder management skills
\n\tStrong ethical standards and professionalism
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines
\n\tGood presentation and communication skills<\/p>\n
