Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Facilities Management<\/p>\n
\tLead and oversee day\u2011to\u2011day facilities operations across all retail stores and head office locations
\n\tEnsure timeous maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programmes
\n\tManage service providers and contractors, ensuring SLA compliance and cost control
\n\tEnsure compliance with health & safety, municipal regulations, and statutory requirements
\n\tRespond to and resolve escalated facilities issues impacting store operations
\n\tManage facilities-related CAPEX and OPEX budgets<\/p>\n
Leasing & Property Management<\/p>\n
\tSupport lease negotiations, renewals, relocations, and store openings\/closures
\n\tMaintain accurate lease administration records, critical dates, and escalation schedules
\n\tLiaise with landlords, property agents, and managing agents
\n\tMonitor rental escalations, recoveries, and occupancy costs
\n\tProvide leasing insights and reports to support commercial decision-making<\/p>\n
Store Projects
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure the smooth rollout of all project-related initiatives and improvements

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Oversee all aspects of store relocations and right-sizing initiatives
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure project timelines and deadlines are consistently met in line with approved programmes

Team Leadership<\/p>\n
\tLead, coach, and develop the Facilities and Leasing team
\n\tAllocate work, monitor performance, and ensure service delivery standards
\n\tBuild a customer\u2011centric service culture supporting store operations<\/p>\n
Reporting & Governance<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and present facilities and leasing reports (costs, risks, performance)
\n\tEnsure proper documentation, audit readiness, and record\u2011keeping
\n\tSupport internal controls and compliance requirements<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Property Studies, Built Environment, or related field
\n\t5+ years\u2019 experience in facilities and\/or retail property management
\n\t2+ years\u2019 experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
\n\tProven experience working with retail landlords, leases, and service providers
\n\tStrong budgeting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license and willingness to travel nationally<\/p>\n
