Key tasks and accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tOversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance Banking team, managing deliverables in accordance with team targets.
\n\tDaily cash planning
\n\tProcessing and allocation of insurance receipts
\n\tProcessing and approval of local and foreign payments
\n\tProcessing accounting journals
\n\tBusiness credit card expenditure reporting and reconciliation
\n\tBanking platform administration and first line support for online banking users
\n\tDeliver accurate and timely month-end reporting within set deadlines, ensuring completeness and integrity of data
\n\t\u00a0Review bank and clearing account reconciliations
\n\tPreparation of the bank reconciliation dashboard, reporting on ageing of balances and progress of
\n\tcorrective actions, in accordance with team targets
\n\tMonthly VAT reporting and preparation of VAT201 submissions to SARS
\n\tManage year-end audit deliverables
\n\t\u00a0Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures
\n\t\u00a0Identify and implement improvements to finance systems, tools and processes to drive efficiency and accuracy
\n\tNurture relationships within the Finance Banking team and facilitate individual growth through effective mentoring and leadership
\n\tGeneral assistance provided to Head of Financial Operations or Finance Manco, as required<\/p>\n

Qualification(s) and experience<\/p>\n
\tBCOM Degree
\n\t5 years relevant work experience within financial operations and \/ or banking
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience of managing others
\n\tExperience in process implementation\u00a0
\n\tUnderstanding of accounting systems and software beneficial (i.e. SAP)<\/p>\n
