Job Description<\/p>\n
\tA specialised engineering plastics manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Toolmaker with strong injection moulding tooling expertise to manufacture, maintain, and repair precision tools within a fast-paced production environment.
\n\tThe role requires strong mechanical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to support CNC programming and production engineering functions where required.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tManufacture, maintain, and repair injection moulding tools to production standards
\n\tModify and repair existing tooling to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
\n\tSupport production and engineering teams with tooling and technical requirements
\n\tInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tooling designs accurately
\n\tAssist with CNC programming and machining support where required
\n\tEnsure tooling meets precision and quality standards for production use
\n\tWork closely with manufacturing teams to support continuous production flow<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tQualified Toolmaker with 3\u20135 years\u2019 relevant experience
\n\tStrong experience in injection moulding tooling (essential)
\n\tBackground in manufacturing or engineering production environments
\n\tExperience with CNC machining processes advantageous
\n\tExposure to Edgecam, HCAM, or CNC programming beneficial
\n\tStrong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving ability
\n\tAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
\n\tHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship<\/p>\n
