Role Overview<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking an experienced HCM Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of HCM and payroll solutions using Sage 300 People and PaySpace. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their HR and payroll requirements, design effective system solutions, and support the full implementation lifecycle, including configuration, testing, training, and go-live. The consultant will also build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to improve HR and payroll processes while delivering successful projects.
\n\tThis is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work remotely with occasional on-site engagements.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Continuous communication with the client:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that services provided to the client meet their exact requirements as set out by the client, ensuring that the final output of providing a value-added service is achieved.
\n\tBuild and maintain sustainable client relationships with Sage 300 People clients.
\n\tConsult on all aspects with regard to the software implementation (scoping, guidelines, requirements, data handling, roll out and support.
\n\tBe able to manage clients\u2019 requirements and expectations.
\n\tProvide analytical and insightful recommendations to clients and the team.<\/p>\n
Value-added training sessions:<\/p>\n
\tProvide internal training and support to clients regarding the Sage 300 People & PaySpace product.
\n\tProviding the super users with changes for them to give their input to ensure that the new system can be used effectively by the client and that the new system enables the client to perform their day-to-day activities more effectively.
\n\tEnsures that issues on the system are identified at an earlier stage of implementation, ensuring that the go-live system is in a more functional state.<\/p>\n
Providing guidance to other consultants:<\/p>\n
\tSupport others in problem-solving and provide support and advice to less experienced consultants to manage product implementations.
\n\tWork as part of a team, contributing and sharing best practices, knowledge, resources, and ideas.<\/p>\n
Experience & Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBCom in Human Resource Management \/Accounting\/Accounting Sciences Degree (Preferred)
\n\tSage 300 People Certified (Preferred).
\n\tAt least 3 years\u2019 experience consulting on Sage 300 People product & payroll background (preferred).
\n\tExperience in ADP, Sage VIP, PaySpace, Workday.
\n\tBusiness Acumen.<\/p>\n

\n\tBasic understanding of payroll systems.
\n\tCan apply cognitive learning quickly and effectively.
\n\tExcellent admin skills (required for task list updating, booking of time, and keeping up with Microsoft Teams messages).
\n\tAbility to take in a lot of information at a rapid rate and convert the learning into long-term knowledge.
\n\tBe able to work exceptionally fast and effectively under high-pressure environments.
\n\tAdaptability: be able to adapt to different projects, different clients, and different working environments daily.
