Purpose of the Role<\/p>\n
\tTo support the Sales and Supply Chain functions through accurate sales reporting, demand forecasting, price administration, and analytical insights. The role ensures alignment between Sales, Procurement, Production, and Logistics by providing reliable forecasts, managing pricing data in NAV, and supporting decision-making to optimise stock availability and avoid out-of-stock situations.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities and Duties:<\/p>\n
Sales Administration & System Support<\/p>\n
\tLoad and maintain pricing in\u00a0Microsoft NAV\u00a0using approved deal sheets.
\n\tAssist the Internal Sales team with pricing, order, and customer-related queries.
\n\tPerform daily stock checks in NAV to identify critical stock levels by SKU.
\n\tSupport claims management and maintain accurate customer records.<\/p>\n
Reporting & Analytics<\/p>\n
Compile\u00a0daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports\u00a0by:<\/p>\n
\tSalesperson
\n\tRegion
\n\tProduct category (Maize, Wheat, Pasta, Noodles, Spaghetti)
\n\tProvide general analytical support to the Sales Analyst.<\/p>\n
Prepare financial and operational reports including:<\/p>\n
\tDaily Flash reports
\n\tTrack forecast vs. actual sales and report on forecast accuracy.<\/p>\n
Forecasting & Demand Planning Support<\/p>\n
\tPrepare information for forecast discussions and management decision-making.<\/p>\n
Develop and maintain:<\/p>\n
\t3-, 6-, and 12-month moving averages\u00a0by SKU, product, site, and salesperson
\n\tVolume forecasts by SKU\/product, customer, and mill<\/p>\n
Support the development of:<\/p>\n
\t4-week, 8-week, and 12-week forecasts
\n\tConsolidate monthly volume and price forecasts in collaboration with the Sales team.
\n\tIdentify deviations exceeding agreed thresholds and escalate for corrective action.<\/p>\n
Forecast Meetings & Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate and support\u00a0monthly forecast (FC) meetings\u00a0with all stakeholders:
\n\tPrepare and distribute forecast packs, reports, and action trackers.
\n\tEngage cross-functionally with Sales, Procurement, Production, and Logistics teams.<\/p>\n
Procurement & Supply Chain Support<\/p>\n
\tSupport raw material and packaging planning through accurate volume forecasts.
\n\tAssist with consolidated replenishment orders for co-packed items (e.g. Noodles & Spaghetti).<\/p>\n
Commercial & Performance Support<\/p>\n
\tSupport rebate tracking, incentive calculations, and commission reporting.
\n\tAssist with customer business reviews for identified key accounts.
\n\tContribute to continuous improvement initiatives in Business Intelligence and reporting accuracy.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of\u00a02\u20133 years\u2019 experience\u00a0in a sales, FMCG, demand planning, or analytical environment
\n\tExposure to forecasting, reporting, or supply chain coordination<\/p>\n
Systems & Technical Skills<\/p>\n
\tStrong proficiency in\u00a0Microsoft Excel\u00a0(analysis, formulas, reporting)
\n\tWorking knowledge of\u00a0Microsoft NAV\u00a0or similar ERP systems (advantage)
\n\tBI and analytical reporting experience will be advantageous<\/p>\n
