A well-established company within the logistics industry is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Outbound Customer Services Agent with proven experience in the shipping \/ logistics environment. Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tMaintain and update shipment schedules
\n\tManage and monitor bookings with shipping lines
\n\tProcess bookings and issue confirmations to customers
\n\tFollow up on quotations
\n\tClear internal Sentry (latency) reports
\n\tConduct strategic container planning
\n\tHandle hazardous cargo applications and documentation
\n\tIssue transport and packing instructions to warehouse and transporters
\n\tSend empty depot releases to shipping lines prior to container collection
\n\tEnsure receipt of all required shipping documentation (shipping instructions, bill of entry, commercial invoice, packing list, fumigation certificate)
\n\tProcess shipping line instructions
\n\tPrepare trade documents\u00a0
\n\tInvoice customers and process creditor invoices
\n\tSubmit RCG to SARS
\n\tPrint, stamp, and release bills for customer collection
\n\tProcess cargo dues and acquittals with shipping lines
\n\tCost, close, and post shipment files
\n\tIssue telex releases in line with SOP
\n\tAssist with training of staff members<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12)
\n\tRelevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
\n\tComputer literate (Microsoft Office)
\n\tProven experience in shipping \/ logistics environment
\n\tStrong attention to detail and accuracy
\n\tExcellent time management and organisational skills
\n\tAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
\n\tStrong initiative and sense of urgency
