If you are a proactive, detail orientated problem solver, the IT Helpdesk position is suited for you. Applying for this position you should be technically hands-on, comfortable with working independently and able to manage tasks with a sense of urgency. You are a person that takes ownership of issues, communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical users, and is always looking to improve the end-user experience.<\/p>\n<p>KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:<\/p>\n<p>KRA 1: End User support\/ Service Desk Support and Service Delivery<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure that 90% of all open calls are converted and resolved within the specified Service Level<br \/>\n\tKeep all the sites up-to date with the current infrastructure.<br \/>\n\tCoordinating with internal business departments and IT teams to schedule device setup, user account creation, and orientation support.<br \/>\n\tDeactivating and secure user accounts and access credentials in line with security policies.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all authorised users have access to required network resources<br \/>\n\tHardware and Software maintenance<br \/>\n\tPreparing and configuring laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and accessories for users.<br \/>\n\tInstalling operating systems, security tools, and corporate applications according to Entity policy and standards.<br \/>\n\tRetrieving, wiping, and reimaging devices to maintain data integrity and compliance.<br \/>\n\tSupport the IT team in developing and implementing automations for IT processes.<br \/>\n\tCollaborating with Software and Network teams on IT infrastructure needs.<br \/>\n\tGeneral Desktop Support<br \/>\n\tResponding to and resolving hardware\/software incidents and service requests via ticketing system.<br \/>\n\tAssisting with conference room equipment, VPN connectivity, and peripheral troubleshooting.<\/p>\n<p>KRA 2: ICT Governance and Security Compliance<\/p>\n<p>\tAdhere to prescribed governance procedures and processes<br \/>\n\tApplying security patches and performing regular system updates.<br \/>\n\tPerforming regular audits of employee devices<br \/>\n\tEnsure relevant policy and procedures are followed<br \/>\n\tEnsure information security policy is followed<br \/>\n\tEnsure that the data retention policy is followed<\/p>\n<p>KRA 3: ICT Hardware Asset Administration<\/p>\n<p>\tKeep record of all ICT Assets that are being assigned to clients and filing the documentation.<br \/>\n\tDocumenting assets return and update inventory records.<br \/>\n\tMaintaining up-to-date IT Asset documentation.<br \/>\n\tMaintaining accurate inventory of IT assets and software licenses.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\tMatric (Grade 12).<br \/>\n\tNQF Level 5 IT Diploma (Technical Support, IT Systems, Information Technology or similar).<br \/>\n\tProficiency with Windows, and common enterprise applications (e.g., Microsoft 365)<br \/>\n\tExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.<br \/>\n\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\n\tNo Criminal record<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"CapeNature","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"CapeNature is the biodiversity conservation authority in the Western Cape, South Africa promoting sustainable eco-tourism and access.","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job_listing_region":[15],"job-types":[12],"class_list":{"0":"post-35325","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_region-western-cape","7":"job-type-full-time"},"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/35325","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=35325"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_region","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job_listing_region?post=35325"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=35325"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
