The successful candidate you will lead the Day-to-Day Pumps Sales, Indirect Pumps Sales, the Pumps Technical Sales Support, as well as the Pumps Project Sales Teams within the Africa Market Area.<br \/>\n\tThis role drives strategic account development, strengthens customer partnerships, and ensures Pump Order Intake growth. This position plays a critical role in positioning the organization as a market leader in Pumps, Cyclones, Valves, and Hoses portfolio.<br \/>\n\tIn this position, you will report to the\u00a0Marketing Director, Africa.<br \/>\n\tThis position is mainly located in Centurion,\u00a0Gauteng.<\/p>\n<p>THE TEAM YOU\u2019LL BELONG TO<\/p>\n<p>\tYou will join the Pumps Sales Team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as the\u00a0Customers, Regional Sales Teams, Pumps Product Line, Pumps Commercial Support, Pumps Professional Services and Pumps Execution, as well as the functional support teams.<\/p>\n<p>WHAT YOU WILL DO<\/p>\n<p>Strategic Leadership<\/p>\n<p>\tManage the day-to-day, Indirect Pumps and Projects Sales team.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with global business objectives.<br \/>\n\tDrive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion.<br \/>\n\tIdentify new market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive positioning.<br \/>\n\tLead long-term business planning including forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline development.<\/p>\n<p>Revenue &amp; Commercial Performance<\/p>\n<p>\tOwn and deliver annual sales targets (orders intake, revenue, margins).<br \/>\n\tDrive growth in both capital equipment and aftermarket\/service business.<br \/>\n\tContribute to the optimization of pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and commercial terms.<br \/>\n\tMonitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales effectiveness.<\/p>\n<p>Customer &amp; Key Account Management<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate with the Regional Sales Teams to drive order intake.<br \/>\n\tBuild and maintain executive-level relationships with key mining customers, EPCMs, and stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tDrive customer-centric solutions that improve plant performance (availability, throughput, recovery).<br \/>\n\tHandle complex negotiations and high-value contracts.<\/p>\n<p>Technical &amp; Solution Selling<\/p>\n<p>\tTranslate technical product capabilities into measurable customer value propositions.<br \/>\n\tSupport solution design in collaboration with engineering and product teams.<br \/>\n\tPromote integrated solutions across pumps, cyclones, valves, and hoses.<br \/>\n\tEnsure alignment with customer process requirements (e.g., grinding, classification, slurry transport).<\/p>\n<p>Team Leadership &amp; Capability Development<\/p>\n<p>\tPromote a safety culture in the team, in collaboration with the QEHS team<br \/>\n\tLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.<br \/>\n\tEstablish clear performance objectives, coaching plans, and succession strategies.<br \/>\n\tFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.<br \/>\n\tDrive technical and commercial competencies within the team.<br \/>\n\tDrive the MA Africa Culture within the Pumps team.<\/p>\n<p>Market Development &amp; Business Expansion<\/p>\n<p>\tExpand footprint in key mining regions and strategic accounts.<br \/>\n\tDrive specification positioning with EPCMs and consultants.<br \/>\n\tIdentify and develop partnerships, channels, and distribution networks.<br \/>\n\tLead go-to-market strategies for new products and innovations.<\/p>\n<p>Cross-Functional Collaboration<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate with Product, Service, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.<br \/>\n\tEnsure seamless execution from sales to delivery and lifecycle support.<br \/>\n\tProvide market feedback to inform product development and innovation.<\/p>\n<p>Risk Management &amp;
