This is a 12 \u2013 month contract with our client in the Fintech industry.
\n\tWe are seeking a seasoned Regulatory & Public Policy Consultant to provide high-level, independent advisory across a complex, multi-jurisdictional FinTech landscape. This role is critical in enabling strategic growth through expert navigation of global digital financial services frameworks.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities & Duties<\/p>\n
\tStrategic Regulatory Advisory: Enable business objectives and product development by providing expert public policy and regulatory guidance across multiple operating markets.
\n\tM&A and Due Diligence: Lead regulatory due diligence and licensing assessments to support Business Development and M&A transaction models.
\n\tCloud & Data Governance: Advise on cloud strategy, including regulatory submissions, data sovereignty, and cross-border hosting approvals.
\n\tMarket Intelligence: Monitor and track global developments in payments, digital banking, remittances, and consumer protection to assess multi-market impacts.
\n\tImpact Assessment: Conduct rigorous legal, operational, and financial evaluations of emerging regulatory requirements.
\n\tOperational Oversight: Advise FinTech Operating Companies (FinCos) on transaction risks and ensure consistent application of Group standards through collaboration with Legal, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\t7\u201310 years of experience in regulatory affairs, legal, or regulatory risk (FinTech, Banking, or top-tier consulting).
\n\tLLB Degree or equivalent in Economics, Political Science, or Business.
\n\tProven ability to operate independently in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.
\n\tFluent in English (French proficiency is highly advantageous).<\/p>\n
