This role is more than just technology, it\u2019s about bringing people and ideas together, driving meaningful transformation. By uniting teams across agriculture under one clear roadmap, this leadership position will help Omnia move faster, scale smarter, and innovate with purpose. The Head of Digital Agriculture will embed advanced technologies such as IoT, remote sensing, digital twins, and AI-driven decision intelligence into our agriculture\u2019s operations. The role will turn Omnia\u2019s data into value and ensure Omnia\u2019s digital efforts always put the customer at the centre. The goal is to ensure Omnia is positioned as a leader in digital agriculture, delivering real results for our business, our teams, and the clients and farmers we serve.<\/p>\n
Qualifications\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.\u00a0
\n\tMaster\u2019s degree in information technology (or equivalent) highly desirable.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 10 years\u2019 progressive experience in digital transformation, data strategy, or senior technology leadership roles.\u00a0
\n\tDemonstrated success in leading large scale technology and data initiatives that deliver measurable business value.\u00a0
\n\tExperience within the agriculture sector or closely related industries will be a strong advantage.<\/p>\n
Duties\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tSet and drive Omnia\u2019s digital agriculture strategy, making sure it aligns with business goals and global AgTech trends.
\n\tEstablish the digital agriculture capability by mobilising, partnering, recruiting and leading people in line with approved digital agriculture strategy.
\n\tAlign teams from Marketing, Sales, OmniBio\u00ae, NSD, Precision Ag, Axioteq and Chemtech to work toward a shared digital agriculture vision.\u00a0
\n\tDrive adoption of IoT, remote sensing, digital twins, blockchain traceability, and AI capability across agricultural agronomy operations.
\n\tBuild-Buy-Partner: Build solutions where data or IP are strategic, buy commodity technology components and Partner to speed up delivery.
\n\tDevelop an integrated data platform that provides a complete view of agriculture clients, combining finance, operations, logistics and agronomy data.
\n\tDevelop fit-for-purpose country specific digital solutions for Omnia\u2019s clients, agronomists, marketing and sales teams ensuring Omnia remains relevant across its global agriculture operations.
\n\tEstablish business models, frameworks, platforms and partnerships to deliver data-as-a-product, enabling APIs, marketplaces and embed digital services for internal and external consumption.
\n\tEnsure data integrity, security, and compliance with Group IT and regulatory standards.<\/p>\n
