\tParticipate in required SHE meetings, interventions and campaigns.
\n\tConducts accidents and incidents investigations and implement necessary measures to avoid re-occurrence.
\n\tEnsuring compliance to Mine Standards and Procedures.
\n\tReporting of all incidents and\/or near miss incidents to the relevant parties.
\n\tConduct risk assessments.
\n\tConduct Safe Behavioural Observations and Planned Task Observation.
\n\tConducts daily re-entry examinations.
\n\tMarking off of support.
\n\tIdentifying of reef band and mark the face as per the geological reports.
\n\tChanging up of the face and safe blasting.
\n\tPlanning and co-ordination of Mining activities in line with targets and objectives.
\n\tCommunicate the daily mining plans to the crew.
\n\tAllocation of responsibilities to the crew and coordination of the crew.
\n\tConduct planning for leave cycles.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 Certificate or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications will be advantageous
\n\tMetalliferous Mining Blasting Certificate
\n\tMinimum of 3 years of mining production experience
\n\tAbility to read and write English
\n\tAbility to communicate with people on different levels
\n\tValid Certificate of physical fitness<\/p>\n
