RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tSeed counting and packaging
\n\tSoaking, washing and drying seedling trays
\n\tPreparing seedling mix for seedling tray filling
\n\tTray filling with seedling mix
\n\tSowing according to the sowing list
\n\tMoving seedling trays from germ room to seedling house after 72 hrs of sowing and putting in order
\n\tPreparing seedling mix for planting pots
\n\tFilling of planting pots with seedling mix
\n\tMoving in filled pots and arranging them in the greenhouses
\n\tConnecting drippers to the pots
\n\tMoving seedlings from seedling house to greenhouses and field
\n\tMaking planting holes in the field
\n\tTransplanting
\n\tPreparing ropes for trellising and connecting them to the cables and then to the plants
\n\tTrellising plants
\n\tIdentifying flowers that are at the right stage on the female plants and undertaking emasculation following the crossing book provided by the breeder
\n\tMaking pollination according to the crossing book
\n\tHarvesting crossed fruits according to the crossing book
\n\tHarvesting self-pollinated fruits from selected plants by the breeder
\n\tExtracting seed from harvested fruits
\n\tWashing and cleaning seeds after 24hr fermentation
\n\tDrying seeds
\n\tRemoval of plant materials from the greenhouses and loading
\n\tRemoval of pots from the greenhouses and loading
\n\tOffloading the plant materials and pots at the dumping site
\n\tCleaning and washing of the greenhouses
\n\tSoaking drippers in cleaning agent and washing drippers used in the previous growing cycle<\/p>\n

\tNational Senior Certificate (Grade 12) (Preferential)
\n\tExperience in the agricultural industry is advantageous
\n\tSeed cultivation
