Johannesburg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Role Summary<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Business Consultant is responsible for driving revenue growth by building and converting a high-quality pipeline of FX clients through strategic partner relationships.<br \/>\n\tThe role is segment-focused \u2014 primarily within the Legal and\/or Property sectors \u2014 and requires a proactive, target-driven individual who can develop referral networks, manage client relationships from enquiry through to executed trad, and contribute to the company&#8217;s broader commercial ecosystem, including cross-selling complementary services such as tax and estate planning.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Sales &amp; Pipeline<\/p>\n<p>\tDeliver consistently against monthly, quarterly, and annual ONP targets in line with company strategy<br \/>\n\tBuild, manage, and convert a strong active pipeline across your assigned segment (Legal and\/or Property)<br \/>\n\tGenerate, progress, and close new business through proactive outreach, cold-calling, and referral activation<br \/>\n\tIdentify client FX needs and provide tailored, compliant foreign exchange solutions<\/p>\n<p>Partner &amp; Network Development<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild and manage strategic referral relationships with attorneys, conveyancers, accountants, wealth advisors, and real estate professionals<br \/>\n\tSupport Introducing Partners end-to-end: from initial enquiry through onboarding, KYC, and trade readiness<br \/>\n\tDevelop and formalise referral agreements within your network, contributing to the company&#8217;s scalable, segment-based partner model<br \/>\n\tExpand their regional presence through targeted business development and network growth<\/p>\n<p>Cross-Sell &amp; Broader Client Value<\/p>\n<p>\tPosition and cross-sell complementary services \u2014 including tax, AIT (Annual Investment Threshold), and estate planning \u2014 as part of a complete client solution<br \/>\n\tRoute clients to appropriate specialists where relevant, acting as a trusted first point of contact for their broader financial needs<\/p>\n<p>Planning &amp; Performance<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and execute a structured sales plan with regular performance tracking and pipeline reporting<br \/>\n\tMaintain accurate records in the CRM and provide timely updates on pipeline and deal progress<\/p>\n<p>Core Competencies<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong commercial acumen with a results-driven, ownership mindset<br \/>\n\tHigh ethical standards with adherence to all regulatory requirements (FSCA, FAIS, SARB exchange control)<br \/>\n\tAbility to build credibility and influence stakeholders across sectors \u2014 from attorneys and conveyancers to HNW private clients<br \/>\n\tSolid understanding of FX products, sales processes, and the client lifecycle<br \/>\n\tEffective planning: ability to develop and execute segment sales plans with consistent performance tracking<br \/>\n\tAdaptable and responsive to market changes and evolving client needs<br \/>\n\tAccountable, decisive, and solution-oriented under pressure<\/p>\n<p>Key Attributes<\/p>\n<p>\tTarget-driven and resilient \u2014 thrives in a performance culture<br \/>\n\tStrong communicator (verbal and written) with confident cold-calling and networking ability<br \/>\n\tSelf-starter with high ownership and motivation \u2014 does not wait to be told what to do<br \/>\n\tWell-organised with excellent time management and pipeline discipline<br \/>\n\tProfessional, articulate, and confident in client-facing environments<br \/>\n\tCollaborative team player who shares opportunities and supports colleagues\u2019 success<br \/>\n\tEmotionally intelligent with the maturity to guide and influence clients in complex decisions<\/p>\n<p>Advantageous<\/p>\n<p>\tBilingual (English &amp;
