\tAn exciting Facilities Supervisor opportunity for overseeing the maintenance , operation of buildings, equipment, coordinate repairs, enforce safety measures, and manage a team of maintenance personnel based at Centurion Distribution Centre. The role will report directly to the Facilities Manager.<\/p>\n

Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tEffectively manage company assets. Provide a safe working environment at all sites. To control & manage all contractors\/service providers service delivery, financial and contract compliance. This relates to the Centurion Distribution Centre.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Job Objectives:<\/p>\n
\tEffective management of Facilities, Contractors & Service Provider Staff and all resources and aspects relating to these departments at Centurion DC site
\n\tAssist with the implementation of complete safety policies and committees in accordance with OHSAct
\n\tBuilding and maintaining of process and procedures of each role within the department
\n\tEnsure that facility is properly maintained and repaired on an ongoing basis
\n\tImplement and maintain safety and security protocols to protect the facility and its occupants, including fire safety,emergancy preparedness and access control
\n\tTo ensure that Stakeholder communication is done effectively, internally and externally
\n\tTo implement a pro-active land and building maintenance program
\n\tEnsure accurate and up to date Databases are maintained Continuous improvement of the data captured, stored and reported
\n\tAdministration & Management of the Facilities and 4Me for services & facilities; in order to provide management with effective and accurate reporting
\n\tEffective management and training of the staff
\n\tKPA\u2019s to be completed for all staff timeously, with indicated needs for training and development, performance management
\n\tEnsure professional and efficient customer contact
\n\tProvide monthly reports to the Department Head
\n\tCost Centre accountability and management<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements<\/p>\n

\tGrade 12
\n\tTertiary Education in a similar field.\u00a0
\n\tMin 5 years\u2019 experience in a Junior\/managerial position.
\n\t5 Years experience in a Facilities Management Environment\u00a0
\n\t2 Years experience in a distribution Centre \/retail Environment\u00a0<\/p>\n
