Experience required:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum Qualification National Senior Certificate (matric) relevant qualification advantageous
\n\t2-3 years experience in similar role
\n\tExcellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
\n\tExperience in Commodity Stock Control is an advantage.
\n\tExperience coordinating with transporters, clearing agents, and port operations would be advantageous.
\n\tKnowledge of the logistics industry\u00a0<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:
\nInventory and Stock Control<\/p>\n
\tManage the Control all Stock arrivals and dispatches at all Port and transit Warehouses.
\n\tCoordinate loading and dispatches from all points.
\n\tEnsure accurate and timely recording of all stock movements in the Companies Software system.
\n\tMonitor and maintain stock accuracy, including:
\n\tReceipt confirmations (GRAs)
\n\tRetirement of stock on the system
\n\tInvestigate and resolve stock discrepancies and variances.
\n\tFollow up with relevant entities on stock identified as offloaded but not yet in stock.<\/p>\n
Transshipment Warehouses<\/p>\n
\tOversee the Loading order for cargo departing from Transit Warehouses.
\n\tEnsure all stock in Zambia Warehouses is moved on a FIFO basis.
\n\tCoordinate all Stock arrivals and dispatches at all Zambia Transit Warehouses.
\n\tIdentify inefficiencies in warehouse operations and implement improvements.
\n\tConfirm that all cargo is correctly documented and matched against dispatch instructions prior to departure.<\/p>\n
Tracking and monitoring of all Vehicles<\/p>\n
\tMonitor and track all vehicles transporting cargo between Loading Point, transit warehouses till point of delivery as Port Warehouse.
\n\tFollow up proactively on delayed vehicles and investigate deviations from standard transit times.
\n\tClose off tracking on the Software system, once confirmed receipted into Port warehouse.
\n\tEnsure all vehicle tracking data is accurately captured and updated in the system.
\n\tClose off tracking activities once stock is confirmed received at destination warehouses according to process.<\/p>\n
Data Analysis and Reporting<\/p>\n
\tOn time reporting of all Stock Levels, including Stock in Receiving and dispatch Holding areas.
\n\tAnalyse all data on the company\u2019s Inhouse Software system for accuracy.
\n\tEnsure warehouses record all stock received against the correct Buyer.
\n\tSupport the optimization and continuous improvement of the in-house system.<\/p>\n
Effective Communication and Collaboration<\/p>\n
\tBuild and maintain relationships with all Stakeholders.
\n\tProvide guidance to all Service providers on any failings and ensure they understand the importance of timeous data accuracy.
\n\tAssist and support colleagues, fostering a collaborative and cooperative team culture.
\n\tLiaise with transporters, clearing agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo flow.
\n\tEnsure compliance with company policies and data management standards.
\n\tCollaborate with warehouse teams to resolve stock and data issues.
\n\tEnsure all actions done are inserted under the \u201cDiary of Events\u201d ensuring clear understanding for all stakeholders in event of queries being raise.<\/p>\n
