Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tTo ensure the correct assembly of products (e.g. desktops, servers, notebooks etc.) within allocated time in line with agreed level of quality and quantity.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Operational Efficiency<\/p>\n
\tPrepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
\n\tPositions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
\n\tAssembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
\n\tVerifies specifications by measuring completed component.
\n\tResolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
\n\tKeeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs.
\n\tMaintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies.
\n\tConserves resources by using equipment and supplies appropriately as needed to accomplish job results<\/p>\n
Safety & Housekeeping<\/p>\n
\tMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with Company procedures, rules, and regulations.<\/p>\n
General<\/p>\n
\tDocument actions by completing production and quality forms.
\n\tContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.<\/p>\n
Qualification and Education:<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tCompTIA A+ would be an advantage
\n\t1 years\u2019 assembling experience would be advantageous<\/p>\n
Skills and Knowledge:<\/p>\n
\tGood knowledge of general administrative and internal processes
\n\tKnowledge of ICT industry
\n\tTechnical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
\n\tGood understanding of quality control principles
\n\tBasic computer literacy especially in Microsoft applications skills
\n\tProblem solving skills (analytical)
\n\tAdequate communication skills (verbal and written)
\n\tAdequate technical skills and problem analysis<\/p>\n
