Job Description<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a Junior Chef who has a good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) principles to join our team. As a Junior Chef with strong HSE knowledge, you will be responsible for assisting in all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tAssist in food preparation, cooking, and plating dishes in accordance with set recipes and standards
\n\tEnsure compliance with all HSE regulations and guidelines in the kitchen
\n\tMonitor and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure safe operation
\n\tKeep work areas clean and sanitized at all times
\n\tFollow proper food handling and storage procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety
\n\tAssist in inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tPrevious experience in a professional kitchen or culinary school training
\n\tStrong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) principles and practices
\n\tAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
\n\tStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
\n\tAbility to work effectively as part of a team
\n\tValid food handler’s certification is preferred<\/p>\n
