Main Tsks\/Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Inspection and Assessment<\/p>\n
\tPerform incoming inspection of endoscopes including visual, functional, and leak testing.
\n\tAssess device condition and support accurate quotation and repair decisions.
\n\tIdentify visible defects, wear patterns, and potential failure points.<\/p>\n
Preventative Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tPerform cleaning, basic servicing, and preventative maintenance activities as defined by OEM procedures.
\n\tEnsure scopes meet baseline functional and safety requirements prior to repair or release.<\/p>\n
Documentation and Reporting<\/p>\n
\tAccurately record inspection findings and device condition.
\n\tReview customer documentation to ensure all requirements are captured.<\/p>\n
Quality and Compliance<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to ISO 13485, OEM standards, and internal SOPs.
\n\tMaintain strict control of inspection processes and documentation.<\/p>\n
Tools and Equipment<\/p>\n
\tEnsure inspection tools and test equipment are calibrated and fit for use.<\/p>\n
LIMITATIONS OF ROLE (CRITICAL FOR CONTROL):<\/p>\n
\tNo internal disassembly of endoscopes.
\n\tNo component replacement beyond inspection-level activities.
\n\tAll findings subject to review by higher certification level.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma in Clinical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or an equivalent three-year technical qualification or relevant technical experience within Adcotech.
\n\tCompletion of internal onboarding training for endoscope handling, inspection processes, and contamination control.
\n\tMinimum 1\u20132 years of technical experience in medical devices, quality inspection, or similar precision technical environment.
\n\t\u00a0Exposure to inspection, testing, or quality control processes advantageous.
\n\tBasic understanding of diagnostic tools and inspection equipment.
\n\tProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic equipment management systems.<\/p>\n
