The successful candidate will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
\tManaging the acquisition and expediting of goods and services required by the Region.
\n\tEnsuring internal compliance of ISO 9001 standards and procedures.
\n\tDeveloping regional commodity strategies and supplier base in line with national standards.
\n\tExecuting procurement policy and implementation plans as directed by the National Procurement\u00a0Manager.
\n\tContributing to the achievement of the AfriSam transformation plan by implementing and supporting\u00a0\u00a0processes to ensure the achievement of set targets on supplier development and preferential\u00a0procurement.
\n\tPerform CEPs within the region and share with PMs in other regions.
\n\tManaging the end-to-end supplier relationship management process including contract management\u00a0by implementing a structured process of business and supplier engagement in order to manage risk\u00a0and ensure vendor performance.
\n\tParticipating in the process of selecting the new suppliers and performance evaluation, including\u00a0developing alternative sources of supply required.
\n\tIdentifying potential Suppliers and verifying qualifications for take on as vendors.
\n\tParticipating in Community Stakeholder Engagement Forums to address all local procurement requirements.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience required:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12, CIPS qualification or Diploma in Procurement, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics,\u00a0Commerce
\n\t5 years\u2019 working experience in a Procurement environment. Exposure in a cement or construction\u00a0material environment will be an added advantage
\n\tKnowledge of SAP (MM, FI and PM)
\n\tBuilding and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
\n\tKnowledge of SLAs, contract management and inventory management
\n\tAbility to develop solid and creative sourcing skills
\n\tTeam Player with good Communication Skills, ability to handle complaints and solve problems.<\/p>\n
