\tThe main responsibility of the NOC Operator is to ensure Network reliability and mitigation of down time of sites through monitoring of technical systems and applying robust yet agile processes to continuously yield efficient outputs.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProactive monitoring of technical system(s) to timeously address alarms
\n\tUtilize all provided systems to deduce alarm(s) and categories
\n\tUnderstand relationship between various systems and\/or Network Elements
\n\tDetection of any faults or potential faults
\n\tInvestigate possible route cause
\n\tInclude as part of ticket logging process
\n\tFirst line trouble shooting and remote resolutions of alarms where possible
\n\tPrevention of faults to field force
\n\tLogging and handing over of failure tickets, i.e. Power as a Service, Corrective Maintenance, Vandalism, etc
\n\tApply intelligent and agile dispatching based on deduced analysis of fault(s)
\n\tEnd-to-end management of tickets with field force
\n\tTimeous dispatching of tasks
\n\tManagement of fault priority and escalations
\n\tEscalation of power failures to responsible parties
\n\tContinuous updates of task activities
\n\tMaintain constant communication with all stakeholders
\n\tEnsure Service Level Agreement adherence within value chain
\n\tCapturing, validating and approval of access request for the business
\n\tManagement of security requirements and incidents
\n\tEscalation management to proactively manage outputs.<\/p>\n

\n\tEffective feedback to all stakeholders within the value chain
\n\tEscalation of maintenance related faults on the monitoring platform
\n\tEstablish and coordinate conference calls between customers (internal and external)
\n\tSystem optimization management through continuous improvement initiatives
\n\tAutomation driven process methodology.<\/p>\n
Qualifications\/Requirements\/knowledge\/Skills\/Experience<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12\u00a0
\n\tN4 Electrical Certificate, although N6 Electrical Certificate is preferred
\n\tService Desk or NOC experience
\n\tTelecommunications experience
\n\tGood listening, verbal, and written communication essential
\n\tDriver\u2019s License with own transport preferred
