\tProvides technical oversight and operational accountability for the converged Microsoft Collaboration and Active Directory environments, guiding support teams to deliver secure, high-performing enterprise solutions.
\n\tAs the primary subject matter expert, architect scalable infrastructure, manage technical risk, and drive continuous innovation and go-to-market strategies across the portfolio.<\/p>\n
Key Deliverables \/ Primary Functions<\/p>\n
\tDrive the implementation of the go-to-market strategy and technical roadmap for Microsoft Solutions (Collaboration & Identity), ensuring alignment with Wintel strategic drivers and future market forces.
\n\tOversee the architectural health and maintenance of both Microsoft Collaboration and Active Directory infrastructure. Ensure high levels of interoperability, quality, and standards as defined within complex Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
\n\tProvide functional supervision and technical leadership to the support teams, by translating customer requirements into precise working instructions for delivery, ensuring best practices are adhered to, and acting as the final escalation point for critical technical issues.
\n\tDesign and manage advanced processes for Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity, by leading the technical recovery of systems during major outages or environmental disasters to minimize impact on customer service delivery.
\n\tLead the technical workstreams for multiple, large-scale, concurrent projects (migrations, integrations, upgrades) ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, and technical specifications.
\n\tProactively identify and mitigate strategic risks within the Centralised Support Environment, specifically focusing on Identity Management security and Collaboration governance.
\n\tCollaborate with strategic partners and vendors (Microsoft) to leverage new technologies, by promoting a culture of technical excellence and innovation to enhance the division’s market dominance.<\/p>\n

Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tNQF 6: 3 year Degree\/ Diploma\/ National Diploma in Information Technology
\n\tNQF 4: Grade 12 National Diploma<\/p>\n
Additional Education -Preferred \/Advantage<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
Minimum relevant experience that is required:<\/p>\n
\tFive (5) years working experience in Microsoft Solutions Collaboration and Active Directory Centres of Excellence.<\/p>\n
Or<\/p>\n
\tSeven (7) years working experience in Microsoft Solutions Collaboration and Active Directory Centres of Excellence.<\/p>\n
Certifications<\/p>\n
\tITIL Foundation and Practitioners Certification
\n\tMicrosoft Certified Azure solutions Architect Expert<\/p>\n
