Seeking a highly skilled and commercially strong Group Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of multiple dealerships within a multi-branch automotive group.
\n\tThis role requires a strategic finance professional with strong motor industry experience who can provide financial oversight, operational support, compliance management, and performance analysis across multiple entities.
\n\tThe successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the business, driving financial accuracy, profitability, reporting standards, and process improvement across the group.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tChartered Accountant \u2013 CA(SA) (non-negotiable)
\n\tMinimum of 4 years\u2019 post-qualification experience
\n\tProven experience within the motor industry (essential)
\n\tExperience managing multiple entities, branches, or dealership operations
\n\tExperience working on Evolve and EasyBI or similar dealership systems
\n\tStrong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience
\n\tStrong commercial and business acumen
\n\tStrong leadership and team management capability
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence and willingness to travel regularly<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:
\nFinancial Management & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tOversee and manage the full financial function across multiple dealerships.
\n\tEnsure accurate and timeous preparation of monthly management accounts.
\n\tAnalyse financial performance and provide strategic insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow<\/p>\n
\tMonitor and control budgets, forecasts, and cash flow across the group.
\n\tSupport operational teams with financial planning and decision-making.
\n\tIdentify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies where required.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Financial Controls<\/p>\n
\tEnsure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
\n\tReview and approve balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting processes.
\n\tAssist with audits and liaise with external auditors where required.<\/p>\n
Leadership & Team Management<\/p>\n
\tManage and support dealership financial teams across multiple locations.
\n\tDrive accountability, financial discipline, and continuous improvement within finance operations.
\n\tSupport the development and standardisation of financial processes across the group.<\/p>\n
Operational & Strategic Support<\/p>\n
\tProvide financial guidance and strategic input to senior leadership and operational management.
\n\tTravel regularly to dealership branches for financial oversight, support, and audits.
\n\tDrive process improvements and reporting efficiencies across the business.
