Estimates<\/p>\n
\tCompile estimates according to client and agent requirements for all transport modes both imports and exports
\n\tRequest landside and freight charges from agents and service providers worldwide
\n\tEnsure that the estimate charges correspond to client rates in CargoWise and Forwarding Instructions
\n\tQuality check estimate on a continuous basis
\n\tKnowledge of Customs Tariffs and Port Charges
\n\tForward estimate to the relevant sales or client services representative to quality check and forward to the client
\n\tSave approved estimate in excel format under the client EDOCS tab in CargoWise Client Queries
\n\tAdministrative support
\n\tProposals
\n\tGlobal agent rates negotiation<\/p>\n
Rates<\/p>\n
\tMaintenance of Client rates and ensures all rate schedules are updated
\n\tCommunicate buy and sell rates to operations
\n\tNegotiations of rates with 3rd parties
\n\tIn cases where rates are not on file application is made to the relevant agent or third party supplier for the necessary costs<\/p>\n
Tenders<\/p>\n
\tComplete tender according to client and agent requirements for all transport modes both imports and exports
\n\tRate negotiations with carrier \u00a0Agents on current tenders to ensure best possible price with a marginable profit
\n\tSubmit tenders before deadline
\n\tFollow up on tenders to see if Company was successful in tender<\/p>\n
Query Handling<\/p>\n
\tAttend to any estimate or rate queries
\n\tCommunicate any queries and amendments to all parties involved<\/p>\n
Inherent Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nKnowledge & Experience<\/p>\n
\tMatric or Senior Certification equivalent
\n\tHigh level of Computer literacy
\n\tKnowledge of all transport modes \u00a0Air Ocean and Road
