Job Summary<\/p>\n
\tWe are looking for a results-driven Independent Sales Representative to promote and sell orthopaedic trauma implants to hospitals, surgeons, and procurement departments.
\n\tThe ideal candidate will have experience in medical device sales or a strong understanding of the orthopaedic\/trauma environment, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships in a clinical setting.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPromote and sell orthopaedic trauma implants and related products to surgeons, hospitals, and clinics
\n\tBuild and maintain relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, theatre staff, and procurement teams
\n\tIdentify new business opportunities and grow market share within the assigned territory
\n\tAttend theatre cases and provide product support where required
\n\tConduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions
\n\tAchieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
\n\tMaintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and client reports
\n\tProvide market feedback and competitor insights to management
\n\tEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies
\n\tSupport tender processes and hospital vendor registrations<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tProven sales experience (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare sales preferred)
\n\tStrong network within orthopaedics, trauma units, or hospitals (highly advantageous)
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence and own reliable vehicle
\n\tWillingness to travel extensively within the assigned region – Gauteng South
\n\tStrong negotiation and closing skills
\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n\tAbility to work independently and manage your own schedule<\/p>\n
Preferred Experience (Advantageous)<\/p>\n
\tExperience selling orthopaedic trauma implants or surgical products
\n\tClinical\/theatre experience or exposure to surgical environments
\n\tDiploma\/Degree in Sales, Business, Biomedical, or related field
\n\tExisting relationships with orthopaedic surgeons and hospital groups
\n\tKnowledge of hospital procurement processes and medical device regulations<\/p>\n
