The role acts as the primary interface between business leadership and IT, shaping demand, translating business strategy into value-driven technology initiatives, and ensuring measurable business outcomes through effective prioritisation, delivery alignment, and adoption. The BRM is accountable for maximising value realised from IT investments.<\/p>\n<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<p>Partnership and relationship management<\/p>\n<p>\tPartnership and relationship management: Operating as the dedicated front-office face of IT within business leadership meetings to ensure IT roadmaps are synchronised with departmental goals.<br \/>\n\tContribute to the business partner leadership team by actively partnering with business peers to determine and articulate strategic direction<\/p>\n<p>Strategic demand shaping<\/p>\n<p>\tStrategic demand shaping: Proactively engaging with business to challenge, refine and translate operational wants into strategic requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Demand prioritisation and delivery alignment<\/p>\n<p>\tWork closely with SA Commercial IT Business Analysts and delivery partners to ensure that business demand is assessed and prioritised.<br \/>\n\tTrusted advisor to business partners<br \/>\n\tPartner with the delivery teams to ensure a healthy and well-managed initiative portfolio.<br \/>\n\tAlign with delivery partners post-launch to audit if the technical solution actually delivered the promised business outcome<br \/>\n\tUse cases added to prioritised implementation backlogs<br \/>\n\tEnsure business value realization and optimization, from value plans through consultancy, business case development, financial awareness, managing expectations, and identifying opportunities to add value<br \/>\n\tEnsure project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication.<\/p>\n<p>Governance and Risk<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsuring risks are documented and managed.<br \/>\n\tEnsuring solutions are aligned to GDT frameworks and governance standards<\/p>\n<p>Support Innovation Pipeline<\/p>\n<p>\tUse knowledge and awareness of industry and technology trends and digital advances as they relate to new opportunities and business needs<\/p>\n<p>ROI Projections and Business Value Realisation Tracking<\/p>\n<p>\tROI Projections<br \/>\n\tAccurate budgets and forecasts for implementation initiatives<br \/>\n\tInitiatives that are aligned to corporate strategy<br \/>\n\tBusiness Value Realisation<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<br \/>\nEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n<p>\tMinimum education Matric\/Grade 12<br \/>\n\tRelevant diploma or degree\/business related qualification (Engineering or IT qualification preferrable)<\/p>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE &amp;
