THE JOB AT A GLANCE:<\/p>\n
\tMain responsibilities include overseeing the operations of a given manufacturing plant, scheduling employees and managing work-load and projects.<\/p>\n
WHAT YOU WILL DO:<\/p>\n
\tManagement of and reporting of out of control situations, e.g. budget, safety, quality, manpower shortages, industrial relation etc.
\n\tPlanning of the manufacturing operation and, manage all manufacturing operation on site.
\n\tMaximize productivity and quality
\n\tImplementation of corrective actions where non conformities were found.
\n\tThe management of health and safety, production efficiency, quality, stock management and demand.
\n\tConsistently review the needs of the site introducing new technology as well as setting out the capital investment requirements in line with Group best practice policy.
\n\tManaging performance, training and development of staff
\n\tEmpower team through care and growth of people by providing people with the means the ability and accountability
\n\tEnsure the Plan adherence Schedules target are achieved
\n\tInvestigate stock variances and implement countermeasures
\n\tClarify roles and tasks \u2013 Develop and empower team members.
\n\tFull World Class Manufacturing (WCM) function: Manage and expand WCM strategy at plant level, maintaining a consistent approach and ensuring targets including cost reduction are met.
\n\tEducating staff in the principles and opportunities arising form WCM.<\/p>\n
WHAT YOU\u2019LL BRING TO THE TABLE:<\/p>\n
\tCore knowledge :Budgeting ,Negotiating skills ,Good presentation skills.
\n\tAcademic : Grade 12 \/ Matric ,Degree in Engineering , Oracle knowledge and experience\u00a0
\n\tAwareness of ISO international standards and systems.
\n\tExperience : 5 years\u2019 experience in manufacturing environment in a 24 \/7 running plants\u00a0
\n\t3 years management\/ supervisory experience within a manufacturing, Proactive Management Activities (TPM, TQC, WCM).
\n\tBehavioural -Analytical and problem solving ability, Ability to work under pressure, Good communication & service orientated skills, Planning skills with a high degree of control to complete items quickly & efficiently.<\/p>\n

\n\tMaintenance and management\/operation of preparation and processing equipment.
