\tDis-Chem Pharmacies requires a Cosmetic \u00a0Frontshop Assistant for their store in Southgate. \u00a0To uphold the merchandising standards whilst supporting the customer service at point of sales in accordance with Dis-Chem policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Essential:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \/ Matric
\n\tMinimum of 0 – 6 months Retail experience
\n\tMinimum 1 year experience within retail environment in Cosmetics
\n\tCertification is Retail or related field
\n\tComputer literate \u2013 MS Office<\/p>\n
Job Description:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that full ranges of products are always on the shelves and neatly presented.
\n\tMaintain the stock on the shelves to ensure it has not reached its sell by date.
\n\tRestock merchandise when needed to ensure maximum sales.
\n\tBe responsible for accurate cash flow.
\n\tEnsure that all line voids and price changes are approved and signed by a supervisor.
\n\tExchange merchandise for customers and accept return goods by customers when authorized to do so.
\n\tTransact all purchases – receive and processes all payments such as cash, cards, vouchers, coupons, and other payments excepted by Dis-Chem.
\n\tRestock merchandise when needed to ensure maximum sales.
\n\tDelivered stock or stock pulled from the storeroom must be stored and packed in the correct space immediately.
\n\tEnsure the stock on the shelves has not reached sell by dates.
\n\tProvide friendly, helpful, and courteous assistance and advice to all customers.
\n\tAll out of stock queries from customers must be followed up with the customer service out of stock list.
\n\tEnsure cash is placed in the drop safe according to Dis-Chem standard operating procedures.
\n\tBe alert and verify all payments according to Dis-Chem verification procedure.
\n\tAdhere to Dis-Chem security policies and procedures
\n\tEnsure the use of your code and password is restricted to only you, is safe and is changed regularly.
\n\tEnsure all out going stock\/ items are scanned and paid for.
\n\tAdhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
\n\tAdhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations.<\/p>\n

\n\tMerchandising standards and FMCG industry. Working with Planograms. Category Knowledge including promotions, personal selling, sales targets, customer liaison, product knowledge.
\n\tComprehending fundamental arithmetic\u2019s like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
