Purpose of the Role<\/p>\n
\tWe\u2019re looking for a dynamic\u00a0Assistant\u00a0Catering Manager\u00a0to join our catering team. This is your opportunity to combine culinary expertise with meaningful service in a healthcare environment.
\n\tIn this role, you\u2019ll be at the heart of our food service operations. You\u2019ll ensure the smooth daily running of the kitchen, from menu planning to production processes, while keeping food and labour costs in check. You\u2019ll also play a vital role in ensuring compliance with HACCP standards and accommodating special dietary needs for our patients and clients.<\/p>\n
Education and Experience required:<\/p>\n
\tTertiary qualification in Food & Beverage Services or Culinary Arts
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 progressive kitchen management experience
\n\tProven track record of delivering results within budget
\n\tHigh-volume, complex foodservice experience
\n\tSpecial diets knowledge
\n\tStrong understanding of HSE regulations (advantageous).
\n\tExcellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
\n\tComputer literacy and solid HACCP knowledge.<\/p>\n
Key Areas of responsibility:<\/p>\n
\tOverseeing daily kitchen operations in a high-volume setting.
\n\tImplementing and monitoring production processes.
\n\tManaging food and labour costs within budget.
\n\tMaintaining full compliance with HACCP standards.
\n\tPlanning and developing menus for varied dietary requirements.
\n\tLeading, motivating, and managing the kitchen brigade.
\n\tSupporting strategic and day-to-day operational decisions.
\n\tStrong understanding of HSE regulations (advantageous).
\n\tExcellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
\n\tComputer literacy and solid HACCP knowledge.<\/p>\n
