Our client is seeking a Sales Manager \u2013 C&I Storage to drive sales and contract execution for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) PV+BESS solutions across the Middle East & Africa, with a strong focus on South Africa.
\n\tThis role is responsible for closing contracts, expanding customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving revenue targets aligned with market conditions. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in selling C&I Storage Solutions, combined with a strong technical and commercial background.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tManage and expand existing customer relationships while actively developing new business opportunities within targeted markets and segments
\n\tIdentify, qualify, and pursue high-potential sales opportunities to drive market and revenue growth
\n\tProvide detailed commercial and technical proposals to customers in alignment with internal teams
\n\tLead end-to-end contract negotiations and secure C&I PV+BESS agreements
\n\tTake full responsibility for achieving sales targets and revenue goals for C&I Storage Solutions
\n\tMaintain strong knowledge of the competitive landscape, including service offerings, component solutions, and market differentiators
\n\tMonitor and analyse market trends, regulatory developments, and political frameworks affecting energy storage markets
\n\tCollaborate closely with business development, commercial, project execution, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
\n\tUse market feedback to enhance turnkey product offerings, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDeep technical background in energy storage solutions
\n\tProven track record delivering storage solutions within the C&I PV+BESS segment
\n\tEngineering qualification preferred, alternatively Business Administration
\n\tMinimum 3\u20135 years\u2019 relevant industry experience
\n\tExisting network within the relevant industry segment
\n\tExperience with value selling and account penetration strategy development
\n\tFamiliarity with stakeholder interests across different solar sectors
\n\tHigh proficiency in MS Office applications
\n\tExperience using Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM systems
\n\tStrong sales, proposal development, negotiation, and deal-closing skills
\n\tAbility to work autonomously under pressure
\n\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills
\n\tWillingness and ability to travel up to 40%
\n\tFluency in English; additional languages advantageous<\/p>\n
