\n\tWe run our programme alongside the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA). Our graduates in this programme serve their articles over three years in our Assurance practice and learn through hands-on coaching. You will have the opportunity to perform all activities related to the accounting function, which may include the following:<\/p>\n
\tCapture transactions in accounting records
\n\tPerform reconciliations
\n\tPerform bookkeeping to balance sheets and trial balances
\n\tPrepare financial statements
\n\tPerform tax calculations and complete tax returns
\n\tComplete VAT returns
\n\tPerform general accounting functions according to PwC methodologies
\n\tPerform secretarial services
\n\tEngage with PwC clients to assist them with accounting matters<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
What are we looking for?<\/p>\n
\tA completed or partially completed financial accounting degree at a SAIPA accredited university with the intention to qualify as a professional accountant.
\n\tGreat communication and interpersonal skills, and fluency in English\u2014the ability to communicate in Afrikaans is advantageous
\n\tComputer literacy, with knowledge of Pastel, MS Word and MS Excel.
