\t5+ years\u2019 experience in sourcing, procurement, or partnerships within the metallurgy or mining industry<\/p>\n
Duties\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nProduct & Supplier Sourcing<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and evaluate new metallurgical products, technologies, and services that align with customer requirements and industry trends.
\n\tSource and onboard suppliers of raw materials, alloys, processing equipment, and metallurgical services.
\n\tEnsure supplier compliance with industry standards, quality assurance, and sustainability practices.<\/p>\n
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n
\tEngage with customers to understand their technical and operational needs in metallurgy.
\n\tCollaborate with internal technical teams to translate customer needs into sourcing strategies.
\n\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, transporters, and service providers.<\/p>\n
Strategic Partnership Development<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and develop partnerships with research institutions, technology providers, and logistics companies that support metallurgical innovation and efficiency.
\n\tNegotiate and manage supplier contracts and partnership agreements.
\n\tMonitor supplier performance and ensure alignment with strategic goals.<\/p>\n
Operational Coordination<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with procurement, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of sourced products and services.
\n\tResolve supply chain issues related to metallurgical materials and services.<\/p>\n
