Your tasks and responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tYou are ambitious and change makes you thrive, become part of a local and virtual support team and assist our clinical customers in English language with your excellent Computed Tomography (CT) Know-How.
\n\tYou will provide international technical support (mainly remote and via phone) for CT systems (with a focus on customers in South Africa) to provide a fast and high-quality support to the customer
\n\tYou will register, understand and solve technical system malfunction of CT systems, as well as understand customer situation
\n\tYou will analyze technical failure with the help of the local customer, service engineer, application specialists as well as remote diagnosis and the knowledge data base
\n\tYou will be responsible for qualified pre-diagnosis and the selection of the defined spare parts
\n\tYou will take necessary action by using problem solution techniques and derive measures
\n\tFurthermore, you will follow the actions that have been taken and if necessary, modify them
\n\tYou will start escalation to research and development with consideration of the escalation guidelines
\n\tThis position may suit you best if you enjoy working with both local and international clients and analyzing CT problems.
\n\tYou have completed a technical university degree, ideally electrical engineering or medical technology, or you are a certified technician with several years of substantial experience in the medical technology field
\n\tYou have several years of experience within service\/installation of CT systems
\n\tFor the support of our complex devices, you bring an affinity to IT
\n\tWith your very good language skills you support our customers in South Africa as well as other English-speaking customers in MEA, can document problems, easily communicate internally with your colleagues and understand the trainings, most of which are held in English. Ideally, you have already gained experience in intercultural cooperation
\n\tYou have a structured, proactive approach to our customers’ problem cases and are able to keep track of several support requests and set the corresponding priorities; at the same time, you always have customer satisfaction and the quality of your technical solution in mind
\n\tWith your strong communication skills you integrate effortlessly into our international team.<\/p>\n
Your qualifications and experience:<\/p>\n
\tYou have completed vocational training in a technical field, preferably in medical technology or electrical engineering.
\n\tYou have many years of professional experience in the field of service\/installation for computed tomography, thus possessing very solid CT knowledge
\n\tIdeally, you have already worked in an international environment<\/p>\n
Your attributes and skills:<\/p>\n
\tYou have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English; additional knowledge in additional languages is a plus
\n\tYou approach customer issues in a structured and proactive manner, and you can maintain an overview in case of multiple support requests and of prioritizing accordingly
\n\tCustomer Orientation and teamwork skills complete your profile<\/p>\n
