Job Description<\/p>\n
\tThis position helps provide and maintain facilities which give Church members places where they can work, workshop, teach, lean, pray together, make and renew covenants, and receive sacred ordinances. \u00a0The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of multiple facilities, ensuring they are prepared and aligned with their intended purposes. This role involves managing a team of technicians, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with Church standards and regulations. The Operations Manager will also be accountable for key performance indicators (KPIs) related to timeliness, cost, quality, and self-performance.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and implement operations & maintenance annual plan.
\n\tScope building renovation projects with the assistance of Project Manager.
\n\tRegularly inspect facilities to ensure compliance to approved standards.
\n\tManages resources including staff, contractors, and vendors to execute the annual plan.
\n\t\u00a0Secures contractors and vendors and ensures that work and services meet established specifications.
\n\tCommunicates frequently with customers, employees, vendors, and contractors to develop and maintain effective relationships.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tMust hold a current \/ valid temple recommend and\/or be worthy to hold one.
\n\tMust have a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field, with at least 5 years\u2019 work experience in related industry.
\n\tMust have 3 or more years in a leadership role leading others.
\n\tMust be proficient in the use of computers and must understand and be able to use MS Office applications, department-specific software, and web-based programs.
\n\tKnowledge in facility and property management, construction procedures, business practices, safety and fire codes is key.
\n\tMust be able to plan and execute work to reach desired outcomes\/goals.
\n\tProven front-line management skills in a multi-discipline work environment and ability to manage difficult situations to achieve a positive and appropriate resolution.
\n\tMust be customer service oriented and be able to demonstrate such experience.
\n\tAbility to communicate professionally with employees, priesthood leaders, contractors, and vendors. Must possess sound business, financial acumen, and project management skills.
\n\tMust have a driving license and be willing to travel.<\/p>\n
