{"id":35671,"date":"2026-05-12T10:02:28","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T10:02:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/food-beverage-floor-manager-department-co-ordinator-product\/"},"modified":"2026-05-12T10:03:07","modified_gmt":"2026-05-12T10:03:07","slug":"food-beverage-floor-manager-department-co-ordinator-product","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/food-beverage-floor-manager-department-co-ordinator-product\/","title":{"rendered":"Food &amp; Beverage Floor Manager \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Department Co-Ordinator: Product"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Purpose<\/p>\n<p>\tResponsible for the effective day-to-day shift management of Food &amp; Beverage operations (including restaurants, mini-bars, beverage operations), with specific regard to achieving profitability across F&amp;B outlets; maintaining products and standards of operation; maximising customer satisfaction; delivery of the F&amp;B business objectives, and developing a cross-functional talent pipeline within food &amp; beverage.<\/p>\n<p>Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n<p>Delivered F&amp;B Plan Implementation\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop outlet objectives and deliverables in line with Unit F&amp;B strategy<br \/>\n\tFacilitate the communication and implementation of F&amp;B deliverables for the outlet<br \/>\n\tConduct risk analyses i.t.o impact on short term profit margins<br \/>\n\tProvide clear delegation of authority and accountability for deliverables<br \/>\n\tManage and allocate people and operational resources\u00a0<br \/>\n\tCommunicate plans relative to promotions and strategies to relevant staff and stakeholders within the unit<br \/>\n\tAlign plans with EE, SD and procurement transformation strategies which contribute towards BBBEE targets being achieved for the property<\/p>\n<p>Shift Management<\/p>\n<p>\tPut in place staff scheduling and duty allocations to ensure maximum coverage<br \/>\n\tHandle shift briefings \/ handovers \/ shift reports<br \/>\n\tInteract and be present on the floor during service to understand and assist clients with requests, special requirements, recommendations, concerns, resolution of complaints, etc.<br \/>\n\tManage staff appearance and floor appearance\/ functioning of equipment and systems for the various outlets<br \/>\n\tProvides feedback and reports back to management on the performance and challenges within the F&amp;B outlets<br \/>\n\tManage the control of stock and operating equipment as per SOP<br \/>\n\tCash-ups at the end of the shift<br \/>\n\tCompletes shift reports<\/p>\n<p>Product Enhancement<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate with the F&amp;B Manager to complete a competitor analysis of food and beverage in property catchment areas including pricing comparisons<br \/>\n\tConduct product performance analyses \/ reviews and make recommendations to address opportunities and gaps<br \/>\n\tProvide product rationalisation on a regular basis or as required<br \/>\n\tMotivate new product enhancements<br \/>\n\tCompile action plans for\u00a0 the implementation of approved projects<br \/>\n\tMeasure ROI and performance on a regular basis<\/p>\n<p>F&amp;B Standards &amp; Governance<\/p>\n<p>\tMonitor F&amp;B standards and processes<br \/>\n\tAlign practices with new legislative compliance around health, hygiene, safety and the environment<br \/>\n\tImplement sufficient control measures (including systems and processes) &amp; checks within each outlet to mitigate any financial risk to the business. All staff in F&amp;B to adhere the policy and procedures.<br \/>\n\tConduct weekly walkabouts of all F&amp;B front of house and back of house areas to monitor compliance<br \/>\n\tEncourage a waste management culture and ensure all staff are trained.<br \/>\n\tWork with internal stakeholders (maintenance, finance, HR, and security) to identify risk areas and address these\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>People Management\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tManage staff conditions of employment, e.g. attendance, absenteeism, leave, adherence to policies and procedures<br \/>\n\tManage productivities and payroll costs for the outlet<br \/>\n\tIdentification of employee training needs<br \/>\n\tPerform on the job training and coaching to close developmental gaps and build succession for a talent pipeline within the outlet<br \/>\n\tManage employee relations within the department<br \/>\n\tStaff communication and motivation<br \/>\n\tPerformance contracting, reviews and development<br \/>\n\tProvides resources and removes obstacles\u00a0 to performance<br \/>\n\tRecruit and resource for talent for positions within the department<br \/>\n\tOnboarding of new staff members<\/p>\n<p>F&amp;B Cost Controls<\/p>\n<p>\tParticipate in the preparation of budget forecasts &amp; controls for the outlet<br \/>\n\tConsolidate Capex requirements for specific outlets<br \/>\n\tGuide and consolidate the completion of Cost of Sales reports including:<br \/>\n\tTheoretical COS per outlet for food &amp; beverage respectively.<br \/>\n\tRecipes \u2013 Recipe links needs to be in place to ensure accuracy and legitimacy of theoretical as well as put us in a position for the theoretical to be system generated.<br \/>\n\tFood recipe \u2013 All menu item food recipes to be reviewed and signed off and where needed recaptured into the system MC or IFS to ensure accurate food theoretical.<br \/>\n\tProcurement \u2013 All supplier prices and supplier price quotes to be reviewed and monitored on a monthly basis going forward to ensure we monitor and track price movements to minimize input cost fluctuations.<br \/>\n\tCost control \u2013 oversee the conducting of accurate stock takes in line with Company process.
