This position requires an experienced Firmware (VHDL), Digital or Analog Hardware Design Engineer within the Hardware Engineering Group. We are looking for an individual who is proficient in one or more of the above hardware development skills, with applicable testing and integration experience.<\/p>\n
Your role<\/p>\n
\tDevelop common and reusable HDL library building blocks based on industry standards (VHDL)
\n\tDesign of high-speed digital hardware using technologies such FPGA SOC\u2019s
\n\tDesign of test environments using tools such as Modelsim
\n\tMil Spec Power supply design
\n\tLow Signal Amplification
\n\tPhoto diode detector \/ Laser diode driving circuits
\n\tCreate and maintain development documentation according to the hardware development process (Requirements, Design Descriptions and Test Documentation)
\n\tConfiguration and version control of the baselines
\n\tInterface with project management team and provide feedback on progress and schedule<\/p>\n

\t5 years\u2019 experience in any of the three categories

Qualification:<\/p>\n
\tB.Eng. Degree (Electronics)
\n\tHonours and Master will be an advantage<\/p>\n
