Job Summary<\/p>\n
\tThe successful presentation and effective preparation of all coffee, tea and general hot beverage orders \u2013 in particular a coffee service that is trained for to the level and position of a Coffee Barista<\/p>\n
Key Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPreparation of all styles of tea & Coffee in accordance with the departmental and resort standards.
\n\tKnowledge of all tea and coffee varietals and ability to make suggestions based on guest preferences.
\n\tSuggestions of new coffee and tea related menu items.
\n\tCleanliness of the workstation
\n\tUpkeep of the coffee machine
\n\tApplicable training standards of coffee service consistently upheld \u2013 from the cleanliness of the machine, the measured contents of the coffee, heat of the service cup, the quality and the presentation of the coffee
\n\tOn training off site \u2013 at least once a year, after a successful 3 day training course \u2013 with completed certificate<\/p>\n
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements<\/p>\n
\tHigh school graduate would be advantageous
\n\tPrevious experience in a similar position or in a Food & Beverage Service environment preferably in a 5* Luxury Hotel environment.
\n\tAbility to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
\n\tAbility to provide legible communication.
\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n
