A well-established organisation operating within the travel retail and technology sector is seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join its engineering team. The environment focuses on the development and maintenance of production software systems that support operational and commercial platforms across a large-scale retail environment. This role is suited to a mid-career software engineer with solid experience in Angular, C#, and SQL\/PostgreSQL, who is comfortable contributing across both front-end and back-end development within a collaborative engineering team. The successful candidate will participate in the full software development lifecycle, supporting application functionality, testing, debugging, and feature delivery while working closely with senior engineers, Product Owners, QA teams, and UX designers. Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
\n\tMinimum 4 years\u2019 experience as a Software Engineer building API-based applications
\n\tSolid Angular experience
\n\tStrong C# development experience
\n\tSQL and PostgreSQL experience
\n\tFamiliarity with CI\/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps Pipelines preferred)
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving ability
\n\tProficiency in software engineering fundamentals
\n\tCommitment to clean code and engineering best practices
\n\tAbility to write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code
\n\tUnderstanding of lazy-loaded module architecture and Angular routing
\n\tAbility to design scalable solutions
\n\tStrong learning mindset

Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tContribute to backend development using .NET (C#), Postgres, and SQL
\n\tParticipate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve engineering quality
\n\tDebug and resolve defects within assigned areas of the codebase
\n\tFollow established engineering standards and best practices
\n\tParticipate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and team discussions
\n\tWork with QA engineers to validate functionality and resolve defects
\n\tCollaborate with engineers, Product Owners, and UX designers to clarify requirements
\n\tContribute to team delivery goals and timelines
\n\tUse AI-assisted development techniques to support coding, debugging, and documentation workflows
\n\tValidate AI-generated outputs under guidance from senior engineers
\n\tApply sound engineering judgement to ensure production-quality code
