Analytics team to develop and lead the innovation strategy and priorities for the Chocolate Category in SSA, based on deep consumer insights, brand strategy and positioning, to ensure future growth of the brand\/category across markets.<br \/>\n\tWorking alongside cross functional teams, you will be responsible for executing commercial innovation plans from idea to execution, ensuring they are integrated into the broader marketing communication plans and campaigns.<br \/>\n\tYou will be responsible for the delivery of innovation and initiatives that are both incremental and profitable to support growth for the brand and category, and for leading the performance tracking against key performance indicators post-launch.<\/p>\n<p>What you will bring:<\/p>\n<p>The following experience and knowledge, as well as a desire to drive your future and accelerate your career:<\/p>\n<p>\tMarketing, ideally in a matrix environment in the Consumer goods industry<br \/>\n\tDeveloping and managing product Innovation strategy and pipelines at a cross-country level<br \/>\n\tAbility to build strong working relationships, working &amp; collaborating effectively with other marketing disciplines and cross-functional teams<br \/>\n\tStakeholder management<br \/>\n\tAnalytical, commercial and creative skills\u2014a balance of creative, commercial and strategic acumen<br \/>\n\tStrong analytical skills to interpret data to further understand our consumers, shoppers and market trends in order to identify growth opportunities.<br \/>\n\tCommunicating effectively, verbally and in writing, and executive presentation skills<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>\tReporting to the Category Marketing Director, the Portfolio Strategy &amp; Innovation Manager \u2013 Chocolate, SAROA is required to:<br \/>\n\tLead the development of the Brand Innovation Strategies and 3-year Innovation funnel<br \/>\n\tLead Innovation projects, including value enhancement and new product development (NPD), from ideation through to execution, ensuring launches are achieved within agreed timelines<br \/>\n\tIdea to market, best in class project management including realistic and timely critical path management as well as conflict resolution<br \/>\n\tAnalyse data to identify business opportunities and propose portfolio improvements to increase brand efficiency and focus \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<br \/>\n\tIdentify and understand key market trends \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n\tLiaise and manage key stakeholders to ensure project buy-in, whilst unpacking cost, capacity, capability, and complexity of innovation projects<br \/>\n\tDeliver Net Revenue, Volume, GP% targets; assess required marketing investment; and assess and track incrementality on projects executed.<br \/>\n\tComplete post-launch evaluation in partnership with the Brand team, and ensure monitoring the performance against key performance indicators<br \/>\n\tStakeholder management and the ability to influence key stakeholders throughout the Innovation process.<\/p>\n<p>Key Stakeholders include:<\/p>\n<p>\tBrand Management teams<br \/>\n\tProject Commercialization Managers<br \/>\n\tCategory Planning and Activation \/ Trade Marketing teams,<br \/>\n\tCategory Development teams<br \/>\n\tResearch &amp; Development,<br \/>\n\tSupply Chain,<br \/>\n\tProcurement,<br \/>\n\tNational and Key Account Managers<\/p>\n<p>Key Criteria required:<\/p>\n<p>\tTertiary Qualification in Marketing or related field of study<br \/>\n\tMinimum 6 year\u2019s experience within Marketing<br \/>\n\tMinimum of 2 years as the Innovation \/ Portfolio Manager \/ Senior Brand Manager or in a similar role (Marketing, Brand and\/or Project Management)<br \/>\n\tProven experience in Marketing\/Brand strategy &amp;
