Key Deliverables<\/p>\n
Financial Processing & Billing<\/p>\n
\tProcess financial journals and transactions on student accounts in line with policies,
\n\tAdminister debit orders, salary deductions, and student loan allocations (e.g., Fundi, Persal, RealPay),
\n\tFacilitate student refunds in accordance with University policies,
\n\tMaintain reconciliation of control accounts and financial records,
\n\tProcess bursaries, rebates (family\/staff), and fee adjustments to student accounts,
\n\tHandle student account queries and provide accurate statements,
\n\tAdministrate billing and reconciliation of student devices (e.g., laptops),
\n\tMaintain landlord financial information for student accommodation processes,
\n\tSupport student registration, termination, and NSFAS-related administrative processes,
\n\tLiaise with internal departments (Faculties, Finance, Financial Aid, SRC) and external stakeholders (Parents, Sponsors, Service Providers),
\n\tMaintain accurate records using systems such as SASI, Google Suite, and financial platforms,
\n\tResponsible for the processing of Exchange Students\u2019 financial transactions,
\n\tDistributing student statements.<\/p>\n
Qualification<\/p>\n
\tA relevant Diploma (NQF 5 with Accounting subjects) or equivalent A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
\n\tCompetencies and Skills: National Diploma (NQF6) is advantageous
\n\tProficiency in Excel and modern financial software such as SASI, Q-Link, and RealPay Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and Google Suite Applications
\n\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of customer service orientation Critical thinking and high-level decision-making abilities Exceptional attention to detail and query resolution skills<\/p>\n
